Steve is looking forward to two visits to France over the next two weekends, one in Metz, where he is guest at the Conservatoire in Metz, and the other if as soloist at the Festi Tuba Festival in the region of Dijon. It would be great to see as many French euphonium enthusiasts as possible, and any players living in surrounding European countries and fancy the weekend of music and fun should check this out.

Initiated by the Federation of Music Saone-et-Loire in 2002, FESTI TUBA, whose two previous events were held in Chalon sur Saone and Le Creusot, some hundred tubists across France and personalities from around the world attended here. Dave Bargeron, Michel Godart, and Steven Mead, the latter having become the featured artist of the Festival.
Following the huge success, with the enthusiasm of all participants, and thanks to a partnership important FESTI TUBA 2008 will be held on April 6 and 4.5 to Autun, Dijon and Beaune.
The three personalities this year include Steven MEAD, Arnaud BOUKHITINE et Gerard CHEMAMA
