"Steven Mead continues to perfect his art and constantly seeks the utmost in all areas of CD production."
"That left me with Steven Mead's nominations, both of which display his phenomenal technique, complete mastery of the instrument and stylish music-making throughout."
"..with no expense spared on the quality of everything from overall sound, production values and full colour booklet with detailed notes explaining every piece performed."
World of the Euphonium Vol.5 (Steven Mead and Tomoko Sawano/Polyphonic Reproductions) also came second in the solo category.
