Low Brass in Erkheim , Germany conducted by Steven Mead

Here is a video of the final performance from the students at the low brass extravanganza held in Erkheim, Germany on Saturday 6th March 2010. Steven Mead conducts the 85 students at the first event of its kind in this region. They only studied the music on the day, and not for too long either as the day was full of fascinating events, masterclass elements and lots of daily routines for the particpants. It was a lot fo fun, but Steve tries to give it a little gravitas with the introduction !!

Fellow tutors were Les Neish (tuba), Lito Fontana (trombone) and Markus Mikusch (euphonium)

Here are some links to YouTube and VIMEO videos.
Whilst we are quite sure most of these live clips were made without the permission of the soloist (!) we accept that these clips are a way of life these days, and if you have the time..maybe take a look at a few. Enjoy!!
Please let us know of any new clips you find that we should add to the list. You can email us: steve@euphonium.net or post them on the guest book on this site. Of special interest will be the series of educational videos Steve is adding to this long list of live performances.
