Its been a rollercoaster few weeks and how have lots of photos and stories from the trips to Holland and then Norway. I feel privileged to have met such wonderful musicians and students and played for over 6000 people in the live concerts in the last couple of weeks. I've seen blizzards, ice , incredible sun rises (Tromso, Norway, unforgettable), laughed so hard I thought I was dying, played for brilliant and not so brilliant conductors, perhaps the best of brass bands and wind bands in Europe (Eikanger Bjorsvik Brass Band and the Dutch Marine Band), stayed in some super hotels and conversely had to get up and leave them at 5am way too often !!!
